The new Greithwald Herde boiler has been designed and built to be the best performing among those currently available on the market. This was made possible thanks to a number of unique features.

 Use of Aisi 304 stainless steel: unlike traditional boilers built in mild steel, which is cheaper but also easily corrodible by water, the new IZH has a boiler made entirely of stainless steel to ensure greater durability.

High-efficiency bio-combustion: thanks to the lining of the upper part of the boiler with refractory material, flame temperatures above 800°C can be reached. For this reason, the Greithwald Herde Thermo-cooker is among the most ecological on the market with CO2 emissions that comply with the most restrictive European standards. Moreover, due to its conformation, it requires less cleaning of the kitchen and the flue.

Increased exchange surface: with its 0.95 sqm, it increases the surface area of any traditional boiler by 20%. This solution, combined with the vicious circle of fumes created by the deflectors that extend the duration of the flame inside the boiler itself, guarantees a heat exchange to the water that is 30% higher than a traditional boiler. This substantial modification eliminates the problem of reaching too high temperatures in the room where the heating cooker is located.

Adjustable fire grate: thanks to a specially designed mechanism, the fire grate can be raised or lowered to adapt the heating cooker to different daily needs:
•low grill (winter position), the capacity of the boiler is increased and the heat exchange to the water is favored
•high grill (summer position), the use of the radiant plate and the oven is preferred, allowing them to operate with very low wood consumption.
