The “Metalvet” glass-fibre rope is a seal made of a white or black or gray “Tricotee” / “Tricovet” glass rope, externally covered with an knitted AISI wire mesh which increases compactness and mechanical resistance to cutting, while maintaining its characteristics of flexibility and sealing unchanged. Measures: Diameter 3-30mm Also available in THERMOTEX or SILTEX. These ropes can be impregnated with a special vermiculite solution in order to increase resistance to high temperatures and improve the sealing property (REF). Applications: rope seal for stove doors, fireplaces and ovens.
