The family Binder, who founded their business in the year 1950, represents the brand name of binderholz. The group Binder consists of 13 sites among 5 in Austria, 5 in Germany, 2 in Finland and 1 in the United States of America where app. 3000 employees share their passion of wood.
The vast offer of products includes the complete range of solid wood products for innovative timber construction projects as well as binderholz densified biofuels, which are synonymous with top quality and top service. In the biomass power plant, the remaining tree bark is processed into thermal energy and electricity.
Since 1997 we produce binderholz pellets and have been using 100% of the best domestic sawing by-products (sawdust, shavings and chippings) from sustainable forest cultivation that accumulate in our own sawmills. binderholz quality products achieve test results that are far above the requirements of the common standards (ENplus-A1 ISO 17225-2), thanks to continuous quality controls.
At all 5 pellet sites in Austria and Germany (capacity of 320.000 tons/year), binderholz produces according to the exclusive HD technology, which optimizes the pellet lengths.
